Meet a few of us...

 

Mark

Hi. My name’s Mark Simpson. I’m married to Lyndsey, and we have two small children. I lead the church at Wellfield, though lots of people are involved in helping in one way or another. I grew up in Southall, West London. I’ve moved around a bit since, but we came up to Leyland about four years ago to work full time for St Andrew’s church. (Lyndsey’s a Northern girl, so it’s OK!) We’ve got to know a lot of people here, and we love living in Leyland!

 

I had no interest in Christianity, Jesus or anything until a friend from high school invited me to his church youth group in my mid teens. After a while, I found that Jesus was for real - I couldn’t ignore him any more! I never expected this to happen, but I’ve ended up employed by the church to teach people about Jesus. Funny how things work out!
